We have our busy boxes for about a week now. Tried some of them and some are a failure. So I'm going to post only the successes.
Today's box includes a water coloring pad and some puzzles for cutting and pasting skills.
What's in the box?
- water coloring pad (found cheaply at most craft stores or you can diy and make them)
- paint brush
- baby food jar (to hold water)
- puzzle print out
- toddler-safe scissors
This box was designed for both kids to work together. That's why I included toddler-safe scissors for the boy. He could do some cutting if he wasn't keen on painting. (Indeed he wasn't. Guess watercolor is not messy enough to interest him.) The girl has access to regular scissors and glue that are not in the box but she was way too engrossed in the painting.
For this task, she spent half an hour before lunch and another half an hour or more after lunch to complete, all indepentently. Definitely a success!
