So, this is what we do on a lazy Friday: Chinese and Art. I got the kids to decorate two canvas boards with stickers and then we started painting it with watercolors.
The one that BB and I were working on turned out nicely with a good transparency of watercolor nature.
But PK used stronger and not so dilute colors which makes the background look too dark. So I asked her to spray water on the paint and we did a "waterfall art"!
It turned out very beautifully!
Since the stickers were going to be removed after the paint dries, I had PK filled up the white spaces she sees.
And of course, BB wants to help, all the time. Today we worked on the floor which is exactly the perfect placd for art in our house these days. No toppling of things, just squating and walking around the masterpiece.
Isn't it so fun to play and create art together?
Update: looks even better after the stickers have been removed!
