PK and I were all ready to go for our first Halloween event tonight - a carnival at a nearby elementary school. Just awaiting Olaf to wake up.
There were many game booths for The kids to play. Many of them give a token of prize regardless how well you play. It's 30 tickets for $10. And each game is two tickets each. Just for the fun of it and find-raiser for the school, I think it's reasonable.
This is probably PK's favorite game and she is lucky today by getting a lollipop with a marking. So she had a lollipop and a prize! Happily sucking the candy.
Another of PK's favorites is Bingo. She is indeed a lucky girl today as she won Bingo at her first try and won again twice after that.
Couldn't decide what prize to choose.
Even BB wanted to play with it.
But all he did was to mess up the tokens.
I was tired after an hour at the event but PK had a lot of energy. She had to play in the playground before leaving. Elsa on the ladder. I was so scared that she would tripped over her dress and fall.
When we were left with two tickets and all I wanted to do is to go home, PK suggested buying light sticks.
Yes, she is extremely happy about them. And she says the best part of the carnival is the light sticks. Pleasure in the simplest thing.
Our treat loot for the night.
The books were from the carnival too. Second hand book going at four tickets for hardcovers and two for paper backs.
I let her pick the books at the booth. And these are her choices. Great choices.
It was a fun night after all. PK was very excited before the event and is very happy after that. Glad we made it out.
P.S. The best part of the night for me was this school-age girl who came up to me and said, "I like your Anna costume. It's pretty cool." Although I do feel a little embarrassed in Anna costume, I think PK likes it that I'm dressed up for Halloween.
Mommy, I like you dressed up just like me.
