Some of you might remember that I posted about the girl crying over the fact that she no longer sees her favorite APG friends as much anymore. So during last weekend, we had an APG Anniversary party at our home. The girl and her best friend were so cute holding hands and wearing matching dresses!
We started off the day at the store without the boy (thank goodness for Daddy!). She prepared a shopping list and helped me check the items as we moved along. She said it was awesome not to have her brother making a fuss while shopping. Indeed!
And then we came home to decorate and be ready for an awesome party. The kids played through the night and were so happy together. It's amazing how these five (plus two) kids have grown together for the past 2 years!
Next comes the school week. I must say that Monday's blues is quite serious for this Mommy. I'm getting used to being up early every morning, making breakfast and school lunch, getting to school and picking up on time. It's really tiring. Much easier to just lug the two kids out of the door and eat as we needed and come home when we are tired. Following a routine is not so much my habit for the past four years, and it takes time getting used to it.
The kids, however, don't feel a thing. The boy still get his fair share of fun. A very big share, actually. Never had he had so much personal time with me. He is totally enjoying it.

And on Friday, we slowed down and ran some grocery errands. This Mams needs a break!
As for the girl, she just love going to school every day. There's so much going on every single day that there isn't a moment of boredom.
And of course we made some new friends and enjoyed play dates in our neighborhood.
We are now looking forward to another wonderful weekend to recharge and be ready for another awesome school week!
