It's a lazy rainy Sunday afternoon. I was preparing for APG tomorrow and PK saw our stash of beads and buttons and wanted to make a necklace. So she happily made one while BB was sleeping. Then he woke up and joined in the sensory play.
The set-up is really easy. I jus got out a wooden tray and have a few cups for her to play with the beads. These beads were random assortment as I already picked out the pony beads for my class tomorrow. But it turned out to be a lot more fun than ever! BB was just dropping the beads into the cups making sounds and shaking them around. PK already gone to make a second necklace for me. Lovely.
And we tried sorting into colors too. There are many ways to play. For younger kids, supervision is required to make sure none of these are out into the mouth. Otherwise it a whole hour (or more) of fun!
This is what PK made for me. Now it belongs to BB.
