Today we did a letter C play date with all the things that start with C. The theme is circles and colors, which also starts with C.
I used a small paper plate and cut Cs for the kids to put stickers of things that start with C on it. You can use a regular paper but paper plates are sturdier.
We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and did a bathroom paper roll craft. I have been collecting way too many toilet rolls! The kids love stamping. As you can see, the boy stamped way more than needed. And that's when you introduce the next craft on circles and colors.
With even more toilet rolls and paint, the kids can stamp to their heart's content with this activity.
We took a break and then did a collage in a circle using paper plates and bit and pieces of little things.
You can also do a mandala art if you sort the things out and have them arranged in a concentric pattern.
Next, C is for cage. And we caged up some animals. It would look really great if the animal stickers are bigger. Or you can also print and cut out the animals. I just want to use up my sticker stash.
Some car maze and car-making using magnetiles.
It was again another fun play date. :D
