We went apple picking during the Labor Day weekend. It was a hot hot day. Fruit picking during the season is very much a family tradition for us since we moved to California. From kiwis to cherries to peaches and then strawberries to apples to pumpkins, we pretty much picked all kinds of fruits already. This year, the boy is a little older and he knows what he is doing. Although we picked the apples more than two weeks ago, he remembers it and suggested a craft to do today about apple picking.
Found this stash of paper punches in my craft box and thought the kids can have a go at it this Sunday morning. Upon seeing those apple shapes, the boy said apple picking so we made a little apple tree using toilet roll and cardstock paper.
we did a couple of apple-related activities too. Like the play date on letter A and this handprint apple tree:
Autumn is officially here as it gets cooler in the morning & evening, so enjoy some fall fun with these apple crafts!
